Diagnostic: What do we remember about circles?
Vocabulary Reminder:
Centre: The direct middle point of a circle.
Diameter: A line passing directly through the centre of a circle two points on either side (d= 2r).
Radius: Half of the radius (r = 1/2 d)
Circumference: The perimeter of a circle (C = πd)
Area: The number of square units inside a circle (A = πr²)
Pi (π): The ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter (the circumference of a circle is 3.14 diameters).
